notebook art.
one of the illustrators i like a lot is henrik drescher. his site is an interesting jumble of projects he's working on and ideas for art that come to him... it's laid out ingeniously-- the ideas are in a scolling column on the left, the assignments on the right, and whatever you click on appears in the wide area in the middle. brilliant! anyways, the part of his site that i like the most is a section that shows a series of drawings he did in a notebook to some poems by Rolf Steensig... it's not in english so i don't know what it says. but the art is amazing. check it here. he has a cool book that i need to add to the booklist now that i think about it...
